"Wholesome" is the first studio album by Luis Mojica and was independently released on July 31st, 2016. It is a 10 song celebration of the artist's exodus from NYC to the mountains of Woodstock, NY.
The record features Rasputina's front woman & internationally acclaimed cellist Melora Creager on cello, drummer Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls) on drums, Rebecca Moore on electric violin, Ryder Cooley (Dustbowl Faeries) on accordion & singing saw, Australian composer Sister Ursuline on cello, Caelan Manning on saxophone, & more. This incredible cast of musicians almost magically lends itself to the record's initial concept & Luis' personal goal: to find artistic communities outside of the confines of the modern day city where, as he says, "art has become replaced with commerce." |
